RECORD DISC BRAKE ERGOPOWER CONTROLSNew mechanical Ergopower 12X2 Speed Record Disc Brake controls: comfort, control, speed, reactivity. The new mechanical Ergopower 12×2 Speed Record Disc Brake controls take full advantage of the widely respected, proven Campagnolo technologies and have become indispensable for those who are in the saddle for extended periods. One such technology is Vari-Cushion, which offers an ergonomic, comfortable and safe support and grip. There is also the “one lever-one action” feature that assigns each lever one function to prevent shifting errors. The Ultra-Shift mechanism enables upshifting up to three sprockets at a time and downshifting a full five.Furthermore, the new mechanical Ergopower 12×2 Record Disc Brake controls offer lever adjustability that utilises Reach Adjustment to move the brake lever closer to the low grip, thus adapting to the different hand sizes. AMS Adjustment allows modulating the moment of shift engagement through the use of specific levers. The carbon fibre brake levers feature a unidirectional disposition of the fibre to ensure they match seamlessly with the other components of the groupset.Weight 463 grFEATURES & BENEFITSComfortable bodyThe controls enable a solid, safe grip when pedalling out of the saddle or gripping high on the handlebar.Rapid shiftingImmediate shifting engagement enables activating thederailleur with minimum effort and in any hand position on the handlebar.Multiple actionAn unplanned ascent, a sudden jerk: it takes barely a moment to find the right ratio owing to the multiple action of the controls.ErgonomicThe shape of the body and the possibility to adjust the reach enable all cyclists to use these controls, regardless of the size of their hands or fingers.CALIPER CAMPAGNOLOCampagnolo brake callipers: powerful, modulable and reliable. The flat-mount Campagnolo brake callipers ensure powerful, modular braking in any situation owing to pistons measuring 22 millimetres in diameter. Brake pad return guaranteed by the magnetic system ensures that there is no friction at the time of brake lever release. A special metal plate positioned between the pad and the calliper piston, cushions the vibrations during braking. The different Campagnolo brake callipers were designed to be mounted together with the disc chosen by the rider and to always guarantee the highest level of performance. It is indeed possible to choose thebrake calliper with a disc measuring either 140 mm or 160 mm in diameter and to use a specific 160 mmcalliper. Careful attention was given to making maintenance and assembly operations easy: the pads have wear indicators and replacing them is facilitated by the absence of physical return springs. Additionally, work was done on the insertion of the disc in the calliper to make changing the wheel easier and faster.Combinations 160 mm Ant. – 160 mm Post. – 140 mm Post.Weight 115 gr. (140 mm, 1 pz- pads included)FEATURES & BENEFITSStandard Flat MountFully compatible with flat-mount frames.22 mm pistons in phenolic resinBraking force and thermal isolation.Magnetic piston-calliper connectorPads return to position rapidly, guaranteeing an overall gap between the pad and disc of 0.4-0.6 mm and zero risk of accidental contact.Interchangeable spare parts: pads, cylinder, screws, bolts (same for all callipers)Fully compatible and optimised spare parts, making maintenance practical and reducing the number of components to keep on hand in the warehouse.Wear indicatorIt is very easy to see when the pads need to be replaced.Rounded brake padsThese facilitate disc insertion and speed up wheel changing.Anti-vibration plateOptimal braking without vibrations. Two fixing screwsRapid installation and maintenance.
