MOVEMENT: automatic mechanical, personalized to U-BOAT specifications for stem to be positioned at 9 o’clock. Laser cut rotor as by U-BOAT specifications. Frequency: 28,800 vibrations per hour, 4 Hz. Power reserve: 42 hours. 21 jewels. FUNCTIONS: date, hours, minutes, seconds, 24h indicator. CASE: stainless steel AISI 316L, distinguishing crown on left side, with a patented protective device. Serial number plate fixed on the side of the case. Diameter 45 mm. Bezel ring in polished tungsten. Thickness: 11,70mm. BACK: sealed with seven external screws, opening U-shaped sapphire fume crystal with movement view. DIAL: two superimposed dials, the upper one in black with luminous beige hands and markers. CRYSTAL: sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. WATER RESISTANCE: 100 mt, 10 ATM. STRAP: handmade and hand-finished black alligator leather. Stainless steel tongue buckle. Width: 20/20 mm. Stratos collection is designed with a smaller size compared to the previous editions and extremely flat in order to be worn under a nice tuxedo or a man suit. This time Italo Fontana unveils two version of Classico, named Stratos, in sizes 45mm and size 40mm but scaled down to an unusual thickness respectively of 11,70mm and 9,50mm.
